Mini - Video tutorial

Model: Mini Mini R50, R52, R53 - Years 2001-2007
Part: Gear oil
Operation: How to change the gear oil in the Mini?

To change the oil in the Mini's gearbox, we must first lift the car. Let's get under it to identify the level plug and unscrew it with the appropriate key. Since gearbox oil will drip off after removing this plug, a drain pan should be placed underneath it. We also identify and unscrew the gear oil drain plug, making sure we have already placed a basin with a capacity of at least two liters under it to prevent the oil from falling to the ground. We close the drain plug and connect the pump to the filler hole and let the new oil flow and, once finished, put the plug back on and bring the car back to the ground.
