How to change the gearbox oil in a Mini?

To change the gearbox oil in a Mini, first lift the car. Get underneath to locate the level plug and unscrew it with the appropriate spanner. Since the gearbox oil will drip out after removing this plug, it is advisable to place a catch basin underneath. Also locate and unscrew the gearbox oil drain plug, ensuring you have already positioned a basin with a capacity of at least two litres to prevent oil from spilling onto the ground. Close the drain plug and connect the pump to the fill hole, allowing the new oil to flow in, and once finished, replace the plug and lower the car.
