Functionality of the Automatic Gearbox of the Mini F60

Let’s look at the functionalities of the automatic gearbox of the Mini F60; on the automatic gearbox, a number of letters are described: "P" is for parking, "R" for reverse, "N" is neutral, while for driving we use "D" which stands for drive. Gears are engaged by pressing the brake and the side button on the gear knob. A light indicator will illuminate next to the letter you have selected, confirming your choice. If you desire a sportier driving mode, shift the gearbox to the left: the indicator will move to M/S and then simply move the gearbox forwards or backwards, and the vehicle will understand to upshift or downshift, giving you the sensation of manual driving.
