Model: Mini Mini R50, R52, R53 - Years 2001-2007
Part: Steering wheel

In this video we see how to disassemble and replace the steering wheel of the Mini Cooper R53, in simple and quick steps. First of all we get on board the car and start by disassembling and removing our airbag; then disconnect the electrical connector that we find on the back. At this point we take a socket wrench with an extension to unscrew the central steering bolt, in order to remove it; we just have to replace it with the new one, of the right type, screwing the bolt perfectly and positioning the steering wheel straight. Then we put the airbag back!
