To replace the brake light bulb in the Mini Cooper R56, you need to remove the entire rear lamp. Start by removing the chrome plastic part around the lamp to access the three screws underneath and unscrew them. Once these three elements are removed, you can detach the lamp by pulling it outwards with your hands. At this point, you can choose to disconnect the electrical connectors and remove the entire lamp or open it up and replace the brake bulb without moving away from the car. After replacing the bulb, refit the lamp by following the reverse procedure.
