Replacing the Xenon bulbs in the Mini Cooper S is a very simple and quick operation. First, ensure the key is not in the ignition for safety.

Open the bonnet, then disconnect the power connector located at the back of the headlamp. Release the upper clip and remove the plastic cover.

Next, unclip the two indicated metal rods, grasp the bulb, and pull it out of the housing. Finally, disconnect the connector, attach it to the new bulb, and reassemble everything by following the reverse procedure.
