How to replace the third brake light on the Mini Clubman F55

This guide shows how to replace the bulbs of the third brake light on the Mini Clubman F55. The first step is to open the boot and remove the eight Torx T25 screws. Extract the trim piece from the roof and disconnect the rear screen wash tube and the electrical connector for the third brake light. Remove the plastic clips securing the light strip and replace it with a new one. Refit the light and secure the electrical connector in its holder. Reattach the trim piece to the vehicle frame and reconnect the hydraulic tube and electrical connector. Perform a function test before refitting everything in place. Tighten the screws to fully secure the third brake light.
