How to open the hood of the Mini in an emergency

Model: Mini Mini R52, R50, R53 - Years 2001-2007
Part: Body

In today's video we see a very useful operation in case of need. Specifically, how to open the front hood of the Mini Cooper from the outside, without using the special lever located under the dashboard. We proceed by removing the inner wheel arch cover, removing the appropriate clips, then we can remove it. We identify the internal hook and pull it towards us; this should allow us to unclip the hood and therefore open the engine compartment of our car. We recommend that you carry out this operation only and exclusively in case of need, on your car.
