How to Reset the Error Message on the Mini Cooper S

To reset the brake pad warning on the Mini Cooper S, first turn on the ignition without starting the engine. At this point, the error message will appear. Now, press the reset button located on the dashboard to the right of the speedometer once. When the car displays the mileage, press the reset button until the reset message appears. Then, press the reset button until the car indicates that the reset is in progress. Now, release the reset button and wait for the car to complete the reset. To ensure everything has gone well, turn off and then turn on the ignition again. If all went well, the car will no longer show errors.
