How do you replace the rear light bulb on the Mini R56?

Model: Mini Mini R56, R57, R55 - Years 2007-2014
Part: Tail light bulb

To be able to replace the rear light bulb on the Mini R56, you need to pry the lower part of the chrome molding that surrounds the corresponding lighthouse: once this molding has been detached, it will be possible to access the screws underneath, which must be loosened so to be able to extract the headlight from inside its housing. Once the headlight has been extracted by disconnecting the connector, it will be necessary to extract the bulb located inside it and replace it with a new one; after replacement, the headlight can be reconnected, fixing it and inserting the moulding.

Remove a Rear Light from a Volkswagen Touran

Remove a rear light from a Volkswagen Touran to replace the damaged bulbs. Open the boot lid, and using a lever, remove the plastic cover of the rear light. Unscrew the securing bolts located at the side of the rear light with a screwdriver (using a socket spanner or screwdriver with a bit). Once the light is free from any constraints, detach it from the bodywork (disconnect the relevant power connectors). Replace the damaged bulbs with identical ones in size and voltage. Finally, reassemble the light and reverse the assembly of the other parts.
