How to Replace the Remote Control Battery on a Mini Cooper?

To replace the remote control battery on a Mini Cooper, use an object as a lever to separate the two halves of the remote shell. Levering in their separation groove will allow access to the internal coding chip of the key, enabling you to slide the battery out of its housing, located on the chip. Once the old battery is removed, insert the new replacement under the chip and place everything back inside the remote cover. After installing the new battery, check that it functions correctly.
