In this very short tutorial, we can see how to change the battery of a Mini Cooper R50 remote control, a model produced from 2001 to 2007. To perform this operation, we will only need the help of a small flathead screwdriver and a new battery. First, take our screwdriver and insert it into the keyring eyelet, from here we start to carefully pry to lift and remove the back cover of the key. Once this is done, we can immediately remove the old battery and replace it with a new one. The battery for this remote control model is the CR2025 3V.
