Replacing the Key Fob Battery for the Mini Cooper

This brief procedure will show you how to disassemble and replace the battery of the Mini Cooper key fob. First, take your key fob and remove the physical key from it; then, use the side slot to pry open the fob into two parts, as shown in the video. At this point, remove the rear cover to access the battery compartment; take out the old battery and replace it with a new one of the correct type (in this case, a CR 2032 3V); insert it the right way round and reassemble the fob, checking the buttons' functionality.
