Where to find the legal chassis number (VIN) of a Mini One II

Let’s see where to find the legal chassis number on your Mini One II. It is not the plate located on the driver's side of the windscreen. As everyone should know, that is just a courtesy plate, used to move the vehicle until it is registered. It is called a "courtesy plate" because it mainly serves dealers and transporters, so they do not have to search for the legal chassis number on each vehicle. In the case of the Mini One, the VIN is stamped on the shock absorber cover, in the front bonnet, on the passenger side.
