How do you replace the external rearview mirror of the Mini Countryman?

In order to replace the external rearview mirror of the Mini Countryman, you need to rotate it outwards so that you have access to the screws securing the underlying support. Once these two screws have been loosened, you will notice that the mirror can be completely detached from the side of the car by disconnecting the underlying connector. At this point, you can connect the new mirror to the connector, position it in its seat, and secure it with the screws previously removed. After installation, you will need to adjust the mirror.
