The following steps will show us how to disassemble and replace the starter motor of the Mini Cooper, following the instructions below. First, we open the hood and begin by disconnecting the battery as a precaution; we find the starter motor under the exhaust manifold, as shown in the video. At this point, we unscrew the fastening screws of the starter motor, disconnecting its electrical wiring to remove it and replace it with the new original one; we secure it and install it correctly, following the video tutorial until the end for reassembly!
