How do you replace the starter motor of the Mini Cooper S?

To replace the starter motor of the Mini Cooper S, you will need to open the hood to access the components inside the engine compartment: first, you must loosen the screws that secure the air filter box in order to completely remove it and access the area underneath. The starter motor present here can now be freed from the screws that hold it to its mounts, also disconnecting the corresponding power cables; at this point, you can insert the new replacement starter motor into its place, securing it and connecting it properly.
