Mini - Video tutorial

Model: Mini Mini R52, R50, R53 - Years 2001-2007
Part: Starter motor
Operation: Remove ignition motor on Mini Cooper

How to remove the starter motor? Let's see how the starter motor is removed on Mini Cooper. We disconnect the power supply terminals before disassembling the operating parts. The motor is located under the engine compartment (access from below or from the right side of the wheel). We unscrew the locking pins of the starter motor with a socket wrench and remove it from the engine compartment. We replace the ignition motor with a piece equal to the one disassembled. We connect the clamps to the battery and start the engine (check all electrical systems of operation of the battery).

How do I unlock the automatic transmission of the BMW 3 Series?

In order to unlock the automatic transmission of the BMW 3 Series, the Start / Stop button and the lever release button must be pressed at the same time. This procedure will allow the car gearbox to be unlocked for about 15 minutes, so that in the event of an engine failure, the car can still be moved. It may be necessary to repeat the operation more than once for its success. After unlocking the gearbox, it can return to its original state by simply waiting for the aforementioned 15 minutes, or by pushing the release lever forward for a few seconds.
