- Years 2007-2014 The guide shows how to replace the cabin air fan of the Mini Cooper r55. The first operation to be performed is to remove the finishing panel in the pedal compartment to access the back of the fan motor; use a 16 mm wrench. With a 10 mm wrench, remove the fixing bolts of the electronic component that blocks access to the motor. Remove the three Torx screws fixing the motor, disconnect the power supply and remove the piece; pay attention to the nearby electrical cables. Replace the piece and reassemble everything in position. Check the correct operation before closing the compartment.
