Battery replacement for the Mini

Model: Mini Mini R52, R50, R53 - Years 2001-2007
Part: Battery

If the battery of the Mini is discharged and does not hold up to subsequent attempts to recharge it, the only option left is to replace it with a new one. We open the trunk hood, remove the floor panel and we will have access to the battery compartment, unscrew the fixing bracket screws, unscrew the negative pole clamp and then the positive one, remove the spacer that locks the battery and we can thus remove it from its seat using the appropriate handle. We place the new battery, put the spacer back in place, tighten the positive pole clamp and then the negative one and finally fix the bracket.
