In this video, see how to adjust the window switch on the Mini R50: in the example shown, the cable has become loose, and to fix it, you need to remove the panel, starting with the screw located on the right side of the panel, beneath a trim piece; a second screw is near the opening handle, a third on the handle, and the fourth is on the right side of the opening compartment of the handle.

Once the panel is removed, you can access the mechanism and see that the cable tensioner has loosened and simply needs to be tightened.

Hopefully, it hasn't broken, as this single component is not available as a spare part: you would need to buy the entire mechanism (which costs about £42) or look for it at a scrap dealer.
