How to properly clean a Mitsubishi EGR valve

In this video we can see how to clean an EGR valve mounted generically on a Mitsubishi car: after removing it from its housing, we unscrew the four screws holding the valve cover and remove the piston to see its condition, then we retract the spring to remove it, and clean all the disassembled parts, one by one, with a carburetor cleaner or gasoline. Then, very carefully, we reassemble the entire piece - taking the utmost care in reassembling the spring, as we see in the video - and screw the cover back on. Now the piece is ready to be reinstalled in its place.
