Resetting the engine oil change light on the Mitsubishi Outlander can be done independently in under five minutes. Before starting, ensure the car is off, then repeatedly press the "info" button located to the left of the dashboard until you reach the service screen, with the spanner icon displayed at the top. Once here, hold down the "info" button until the spanner icon starts to flash.

At this point, release the button and then press it again briefly without holding it down.
