To replace the battery in a Mitsubishi Outlander, loosen the screws securing the panel at the base of the boot to remove it and gain access to the underlying components. The battery will now be visible near the right rear headlamp and can be removed from its housing by disconnecting the power cables and unscrewing the fixing screws. After replacement, insert the new battery and connect it to the cables, securing it with the appropriate screws and covering everything with the panel.

While driving, if you notice the tyre pressure warning light coming on, first check the actual inflation pressure of the tyres and, if necessary, restore the pressures recommended by the manufacturer.
