How to Reset the Service Light on a Mitsubishi Colt

The first step to reset the service light on a Mitsubishi Colt is to perform maintenance on the vehicle, such as changing the engine oil and filters. After completing the DIY service, get in the car, engage the handbrake, insert the key, and turn on the ignition without starting the engine; press the button under the speedometer until you see the spanner icon indicating maintenance, then hold the button down until the icon starts to flash; when it starts flashing, release the button and then press it again until the reset is complete.
