How to Replace the Key Battery on a Mitsubishi Colt

Model: Mitsubishi Colt MK 1, Z30 - Years 2004-2012

The steps are quite intuitive. On the back of your key, you will notice a small screw near the metal part of the key. Unscrew it to open the key in two, separating the rear cover. Then, press the buttons on the other side of the key to extract the control part. By separating this component into two parts, you will have access to the battery slot. Replace the exhausted battery with a new one, and then retrace the steps for reassembling the various components.
