First, open the bonnet by pulling the lever from inside, and begin disconnecting both battery terminals (positive and negative) using a 10 mm socket or ratchet; then unscrew the battery bracket screw located at the bottom to extract and remove it from its seat.

Now, replace the battery with a new one of the correct type and with the same amperage; reconnect it and reassemble everything!
