The engine of the Moto Guzzi V65 can be disassembled by unscrewing the fastening screws of the supports and loosening those that secure the intake and exhaust manifolds. At this point, all other connectors can also be disconnected, allowing the engine block to be removed from its housing.

Then, it will be possible to proceed by loosening the screws that secure the cylinder and the cylinder head, gaining access to the piston. The piston can be detached from its connecting rod so that necessary components can be replaced, and then the engine block can be properly closed and reassembled.
