Before removing the shock absorber, lift the wheel with a jack, placing a rubber pad to avoid damage. Unscrew the lower bolt with a 15 mm spanner and pull the shock absorber out of its seat. Lower the jack slightly and unscrew the upper bolt from one side only. Now the affected shock absorber will come out easily. As shown in the video, remove rust and debris using a flat-head screwdriver. Grease the working area of the shock absorber and clean off any excess. Refit the part in reverse order: place it back in position, first screw in the upper bolt and then the lower one.

This guide will illustrate the instructions on how to remove and replace the front brake pads on the Piaggio Vespa 50 LX. First, place your scooter on the centre stand and start unscrewing the nuts securing the front wheel to remove it; then use pliers to remove the brake pad retaining clip, as shown in the video. At this point, remove the old pads, cleaning the caliper of dirt; press the caliper piston back to allow for the installation of the new pads (of excellent quality). Finally, reassemble the front wheel.
