To replace the oil and oil filter of the Moto Guzzi California, remove the screws securing the oil sump located at the bottom of the bike. Once removed, collect the used oil in a container. At this point, detach the old filter from the oil sump and insert the new one into its housing. When the new filter is securely fitted, reposition the oil sump at the bottom of the bike and secure it with the appropriate screws.
