Operation: How to remove the door panel of a Nissan Qashqai

How to remove the door panel to replace the door release lever on a Nissan Qashqai. This video explains how to proceed. Before starting the disassembly work, let's disconnect the battery terminals located in the front engine compartment. With a lever or screwdriver we go to pry the upper part of the door opening lever, then, detach the piece as in the video and remove the push-button panel placed in the handle. We begin by unscrewing the locking pins of the door with a screwdriver (we disconnect the power supply terminals). With the plastic lever we release all the clips by levering around the entire perimeter of the door. Finally, we pull the panel off by grabbing it with our hands. Remove any remaining clips from the door panel.
