Let's see how to reset the service light on a Nissan Juke MK1: turn on the ignition, and count to 3; at this point press and release the accelerator pedal completely five times, doing it as quickly as possible. After the fifth press, wait seven seconds. After waiting, press the accelerator pedal again and keep it pressed while continuing to watch the dashboard. After about 10-15 seconds, the "service engine soon" light will start flashing. Continue to hold down the pedal until the light stops flashing and remains steady. At this point, release the pedal. Turn off the car and remove the key. Wait 30 seconds and restart the engine. The light should be off.
