To replace the battery on a Nissan Micra, open the bonnet and locate the battery in the engine bay. Remove any protective cover to access the terminals. First, loosen the negative terminal and disconnect it, then loosen the positive terminal.

Unscrew the bracket or support that secures the battery to the base and carefully remove it from its housing. Insert the new battery in the same position and secure it again with the support bracket.

Connect the positive terminal first and then the negative terminal, ensuring they are tightly secured. Replace the cover, close the bonnet, and start the vehicle to check that everything is functioning correctly.
