How to Replace the Key Battery of a Nissan Qashqai

When the remote battery is flat, you need to follow a few steps to replace it. In this guide, you will see how. Start by pulling the lever that allows you to slide out the key, as shown at minute 5:05. On the edge from which you extracted the key, you will see two slots; use a screwdriver to pry. This will allow you to open the remote, separating the two halves. In one half, you will find the circuit board, and in the other, you will find the battery. Use the screwdriver to remove the old battery and insert the new one with the positive terminal facing up, ensuring it is secured correctly in the metal tab. Now, simply reassemble the two halves of the remote, aligning them properly and snapping them into place with a gentle press.
