On the Nissan Qashqai, the replacement of the key battery starts from the emergency metal key: in the video, it is removed from the remote and set aside, allowing access to the point where the shell can be opened. At this point, a small flat screwdriver is used, and with a light and controlled lever, the two halves of the key are separated without tearing them apart.

Once the Nissan Qashqai key is opened, the internal compartment with the button battery is visible. In the tutorial, the battery is lifted from its seat and replaced with the new one, placing it back in the same orientation it was mounted before, so the contacts fit correctly.

After the replacement, the shell of the Nissan Qashqai key is closed by aligning the edges until everything clicks back into place, and finally, the metal key is reinserted into its slot.
