In this video, you can see how to independently replace the battery in a Nissan Qashqai key. We are referring to modern remote keys. Before starting, obtain a new button battery, identifiable by the code CR2032, and a flat screwdriver.

Start by extracting the mechanical blade from its housing. Once done, use the screwdriver to pry apart the two halves of the remote casing to reveal the battery compartment.

Remove the old battery, replace it with the new one, close the remote, and reposition the mechanical key.
