To replace the rear wiper (rear windshield wiper), keep the hatch closed. At the base of the wiper, there is a small cover; pry it open. Under the cover, you will find a nut. Use an appropriate wrench to loosen the nut. At this point, the wiper is free and can be removed. Lift the wiper and free the pivot; use a wire brush to clean the threads of the pivot. Take the new wiper and position it, ensuring it aligns exactly as the previous one. Tighten the mounting nut again and close the cover at the base.
