To be able to reset the service warning light on the vehicle, proceed as follows: access the driver's seat and turn the key to turn on the ignition. Locate the left control on the instrument panel under the odometer, press it several times until the "service" indication appears, press the control again and turn it clockwise until "maintenance" is selected. press the control again and turn it clockwise again, up to the "assistance" item, press the same control again and, again turning it clockwise, select the "reset" item. At that point, always press the control and rotate it clockwise until the "confirm" item is selected. This will turn off the service light.

How do you replace the battery of the BMW R 1250 GS?

In order to replace the battery of the BMW R 1250 GS it is necessary to loosen the bolts that secure the casing positioned on the left side of the bike, so that its cover can be removed. Once this has been removed, you will be able to access the components below, including the battery. The latter must be removed from its housing by disconnecting the power cables and unscrewing the appropriate fixing bolts. In this way it will be possible to insert a new battery, properly fixing it and connecting it to the relative cables, covering everything with the casing.
