Dismantling and Replacing the Cabin Air Filter

Model: Nissan Qashqai J10 - Years 2006-2014

Is there a bad smell coming from the air vents? It's time to change the filter, which should have been done a while ago. Let's see how to replace it in a few simple steps. You will need a star screwdriver to unscrew the screws that hold the glove compartment in place, located under the dashboard near the centre tunnel. Once the glove compartment is removed, disconnect the bulb holder for the light that illuminates the compartment. At this point, you will have space to access the filter box, unscrew the last screws, and remove the old, clogged filter. To insert the new filter in the correct direction, follow the arrows marked on the filter itself. Now you can reassemble everything, and you're done!
