To replace the air filter on a Nissan Qashqai J11, open the bonnet and locate the filter box, situated on the left side of the engine bay. Release the metal clips securing the cover of the box. Lift the cover and remove the old filter. Clean the inside of the box with a cloth or compressed air, ensuring all dust and dirt residues are removed. Insert the new filter (you can find it on eBay with code 306072145240 for £13.90 with free delivery), ensuring it is well positioned and fits perfectly against the edges. Refit the cover and secure the clips. The job takes only a few minutes.
