To replace the air filter on a second-generation Nissan Qashqai, open the bonnet and locate the air filter box in the engine bay, usually a plastic box connected to the intake duct. Unclip or unscrew the fasteners securing the cover of the box. Lift the cover and remove the used air filter.

Clean the inside of the box from any dust residue. Insert the new filter in the same orientation as the one removed, ensuring it is properly seated.

Refit the cover and secure it with the clips or screws. Close the bonnet and start the engine to check that everything is functioning correctly.
