How to Diagnose a Fault in the Nissan Qashqai System

In this video, you will learn how to diagnose a fault that appears as a generic issue on the instrument cluster of your Nissan Qashqai. You will need an OBD11 reader, which can be found for just a few dozen pounds on any e-commerce platform. Connect it to the EOBD socket and, using a decoding program available for free on your smartphone's app store, you can identify the problem: in this case, it was the exhaust pressure circuit. Remove the cover from the engine block, and underneath you will find the pressure sensor. Disconnect it, and if you take a look at the blue device, you will see clips that may be worn. In the video, the YouTuber removes it and shows that there is quite a bit of soot inside. You can clean it, but the best option is to replace it; then, using a bicycle brake cable, clean the inside of the pipe (however, there are many bends inside, making it difficult; it works well only for the first 4 inches), so again, replacement is the best solution. Loosening the nut is also tricky, as it tends to round off due to the hollow sockets. In the end, the YouTuber had to accept taking the car to the garage: sure, the fault was already diagnosed, but without the right equipment, it was truly a complicated job: doing it incorrectly would lead to a multitude of problems that would cost three times as much to resolve.

How to Set the Clock on the Opel Zafira
