Fitting Parking Sensors

Model: Nissan Juke MK 1 - Years 2010-2019

First, obtain the sensor kit. Remove the rear light of the reversing light and locate the reversing lamp wire. Connect the wire with a terminal to a ground screw and connect a positive power wire to the wire that powers the reversing lamp. Use appropriate 'current thieves' to create a safe tap. Protect the bumper with common masking tape used for painting. Starting from the installation diagram provided in the kit, mark the installation points of the sensors on the tape. Using a drill, start making a small hole at the marked points. Fit the hole saw of the diameter of the sensors onto the drill and enlarge the previously made holes. Insert the sensors into the holes and route all the wires into the boot, creating a tidy wiring job. Connect all the sensors to the electronics box and install the buzzer inside the vehicle, routing the wires under the centre tunnel. Test the operation of the sensors.
