Resetting the service light is necessary as it sets the mileage for the next service. To reset the service light on a new generation Nissan vehicle, do the following: - Turn on the ignition; - Press and hold the brake pedal; - Press the accelerator pedal ten times; - Keep the accelerator pedal pressed for 1 second to complete the reset; Release both pedals only when the light has turned off and the new mileage has been set. To fully complete the reset, turn off and restart the ignition.
