The battery of an Opel Astra is generally located in the trunk, behind an access panel. To reach it, you need to open the rear hatch and remove the access panel, which may be secured with screws or plastic clips.

Once the panel is removed, you will be able to see the battery and access the terminals to disconnect it. Make sure to follow the owner's manual instructions to safely disconnect and replace the battery. You may need to use tools such as keys or screwdrivers to remove any fastening components.

Once the replacement is complete, reinstall the access panel and make sure it is securely fastened.
