When the timing belt of the Opel Corsa 1.3 makes noise or struggles to start the engine, it means that it is necessary to replace the timing belt. To perform the replacement, we need to open the hood and then remove the air intake pipe and the air filter box. Immediately after, we will need to lift the vehicle to loosen the engine shaft bracket and loosen the pulley nuts. Returning with the engine on the ground, we can loosen the tensioner to remove it and insert the new timing belt after lubricating the area. Once the belt is inserted, we tighten the pulley and the tensioner before tightening the engine shaft bracket. We insert the air filter and the pipe and conclude by starting the engine to test the operation of the belt.
