If your car makes this strange noise under the hood before you think about more serious damages, make sure that the damage is not only this, but it is very common. Disconnect the battery as we will be working near the alternator. With a wrench, loosen the belt tensioner to be able to remove the timing belt. Remove the power supply connectors and disassemble the supports that anchor it to the motor and then remove it by pulling it out from below. Clamp it on a vice, remove the cover of the cover and unscrew the central pin that blocks it. Now you can replace the damaged part and the cause of the noise.

How do you replace the battery of the BMW R 1250 GS?

In order to replace the battery of the BMW R 1250 GS it is necessary to loosen the bolts that secure the casing positioned on the left side of the bike, so that its cover can be removed. Once this has been removed, you will be able to access the components below, including the battery. The latter must be removed from its housing by disconnecting the power cables and unscrewing the appropriate fixing bolts. In this way it will be possible to insert a new battery, properly fixing it and connecting it to the relative cables, covering everything with the casing.
