Replacement of the Opel Astra antenna

In this guide, we will see the steps that will allow us to disassemble and replace the car radio antenna, along with its base, of the Opel Astra. First, we open the rear door of the trunk and start to detach and remove the ceiling gently, leveraging on the sides; this way, it will be possible to access the antenna base, as shown in the video. At this point, we unscrew the antenna nut and disconnect its electrical connector, removing it from the outside; we then replace it with the new one and make the connection, finally checking the radio stations' functioning!
