On the Opel Grandland-X, like on almost all recent cars, there is a wireless charging station for charging your smartphone, which allows you to charge your phone simply by placing it on a special mat inside the cabin. They work through a coil that, inside the car, generates an electromagnetic field that is picked up by a coil present in the smartphone, compatible with wireless charging technology (usually Qi technology).

Just place the phone on the mat and charging will start automatically. On the Grandland-X, this component is located inside the central armrest, between the two front seats.
