The steps that allow us to access the reset procedure for the tire pressure monitoring system indicator on an Opel Astra model J are simple and quick. To reset, we need to turn on the instrument panel and press the button located on the steering wheel to access the menu and select the "TPMS calibration" option. We press the OK button to start the procedure; when the vehicle emits a sound, we go down and position the pressure tester near the sensor of the front left wheel to record the new parameters. When the vehicle emits a sound again, the parameters will have been recorded, and we can perform the same procedure on the other wheels. At the end, we restart the instrument panel.
