Here's how to replace the front bulbs on an Opel Astra K: Remember never to touch the new bulb's glass with your fingers, as the oil from your skin can cause overheating and breakage: use gloves. Open the bonnet, then unscrew the rear cover of the main beam projector (H1) by pushing and moving the bulb to release the locking tabs; rotate the metal tab, extract the bulb, take the new one, and insert it first into the cover, then fully into the housing. Replace the metal locking tab and screw the cover back on. Now, let's deal with the dipped beams (H7). Remove the cover from the side of the body, disconnect the electrical connector, push and simultaneously pull upwards on the support tab to extract the bulb, insert the new one, secure it, and reconnect. Screw the cover back on, and you're done.
